New Painting Classes beginning in December

I am very happy to announce my upcoming art classes at The Green House Gallery & Art Center located at 9305 Hammerly Blvd., Houston. Beginning in December, we will offer several classes and workshops.
Nov. 30 - Dec. 1 - "From within" with M. Allison, This is a two day workshop in acrylic painting. All materials are included in the workshop price of $55. 3:30PM each day
Beginning on Dec. 4 (Every Wed. at 3:30PM) - Art Fundamentals. Join us in exploring the basic concepts of visual art. This is an ongoing course in all aspects of visual art with projects and lesson plans designed to explore art and improve overall awareness.  $25 per week. Materials included with some lessons, additional material cost may be charged for some projects.
Beginning Dec. 5 (Every Thursday at 6:30PM for 13 weeks) - The Artist's Way. This is a very intensive self study of inspiration designed to bring out the creative juices and break "artist block". For artists and non-artists alike. Everyone will benefit by joining this group study. $100 for 13 weeks.
Beginning Dec. 6 (Every Friday at 3:30PM) - Painting with Suzanne. $25 per 2 hour class. Bring your own materials.
Dec. 21 - Ink & Gouache with Shida Rad, 2-5PM. This 3 hour workshop explores Shida's unique technique in finger and hand painting. $45, materials included.

"Butterfly" - Painting of the week.
For this painting you will need the following colors: Titanium White, Hooker's Green, Cad. Yellow Light, Cad. Yellow Medium, Cad. Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue. You will also need a small ocean sponge in addition to paint brushes. I'll see you today at Michael's in Katy (Westheimer at Grand Parkway). 12:30PM

Northern Lights

Come paint with me!
Today we will be painting "Northern Lights". Colors used will be Ultramarine Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, Titanium White, Alizarin Crimson, Thalo Blue and Cerulean Blue. We will be layering colors to create a beautiful night sky painting. I'll see you today at 12:30PM in Katy at Michael's Arts & Crafts (Westheimer & Grand Parkway).
