Intermediate Classes Upon Request (4 hour class, 2 beginners' classes required as prerequisites)

$25 + Materials. Material kits available in store which include canvas boards, 4 colors of paint(Ultramarine Blue, Titanium White, Cad. Red Light, Cad. Yellow Med.), two paint brushes and a palette knife. Wear old clothing. Bring a plastic cup, paper plate, pencil and additional paint colors and materials needed marked in parenthesis. Paintings of the week

 

On Wed. 8-27 at 3PM, the beginners' painting class will paint this view of "Sleeping Bear". Located in Northern Michigan, this is one of my favorite summer places. One of my students thought we were going to paint a sleeping bear. She didn't know it was a place.

Colors used are Ultramarine Blue, Titanium White, Thalo Blue, Alizarin Crimson, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, and Hooker's Green. See you at Michael's in Katy.

 

For the kids class, Wed. at 5:30PM, we will paint "Eagle's Watchful Eye". Children ages 7-14 are welcome. Colors used are Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Cad. Red Light, Cad. Yellow, Med., Raw Umber, Burnt Sienna.

Time change for painting classes at Michael's in Katy

 

School begins soon so the painting classes at Michael's in Katy will be held at new times. The kids painting class will be Wednesday at 5:30PM. This week we will paint this "Nest of Eggs". Colors used are Raw Umber, Burnt Sierra, Titanium White, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, and Ultramarine Blue.

Our adult beginners' painting class time has also changed. Wednesday we will begin holding classes at 3PM. This week we will paint this iris. Colors used are Titanium White, Cad. Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Cad. Yellow Med. Note: This is a switch from the schedule I gave out in class. Instead of Hooker's green we will be using Thalo blue.

This week in our beginners' acrylic painting class we will paint this beautiful "Pink Magnolia". Colors used are Titanium White, Alizarin Crimson, Hooker's Green, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Yellow Light, Cad. Red Light and Ultramarine Blue. Class starts at 1:30PM. Registration is required.

 

 

Kids Class begins at 4PM! Today we will paint "Pear Trio". This is an excellent lesson in color and shape. Colors used are Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, Hooker's Green and Alizarin Crimson. You must register at the store or online at Michael.com

Ages 15+ are welcome.
