Today at Michael's in Katy!

In the beginners' acrylic painting class at 3PM we will paint this delightful seascape of a surfer. Colors used are Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Thalo Blue, Titanium White, Alizarin Crimson, Cad. Yellow Light, Cad. Yellow Med. Also bring ocean sponges.

 

In our kids' painting class we will also paint a seascape called "Tropical Sunset". Colors used are Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Cad. Yellow Light, and Cerulean Blue. Class begins at 5:30. Ages 7-15 are welcome.

 

I'll be on vacation next week, so I will see you on Oct. 13. Remember, our charcoal drawing class begins on Oct. 20 at 1PM.

Koh-I-Noor Charcoal Drawing Class

I'm happy to announce a new drawing class at Michael's in Katy. I will now be holding charcoal/ graphite/ pastel class on Mondays at 1PM beginning on Oct. 20, beginners' acrylic painting class Mondays at 3PM, and a kids' acrylic painting class on Mondays at 5:30PM. The adult classes are $25 + materials and the kids class (ages 7-15) is $15 + materials. Registration is required either online at www.michaels.com or at the register.

$25 + Materials. Materials available in store. Materials used are Koh-I-Noor Gioconda Art Set 8899OT & 400-4 Strathmore Drawing Pad (9” X 12”), Grumbacher Fixative. This week in the beginners painting class we will paint this "Italian Landscape". Colors used are Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, and Alizarin Crimson. Class begins at 3PM. Registration is required at least 24 hours before class in store or at michaels.com

 

In the kids painting class this week we will paint this "Summer Landscape". We will be using ocean sponges. Colors used are Titanium White, Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, Cerulean Blue, Yellow Ochre, Payne's Gray, Hooker's Green, Raw Umber and Alizarin Crimson. This is a fun painting. Expect to get your hands dirty. Kids Painting class begins at 5:30PM. Registration is required. Please register at least 24 hours in advance either in store or at Michaels.com

Painting Class is back to Mondays

 

New day and time! Painting with Suzanne is back to Mondays. Beginners' Painting begins at 3PM and Kids Painting Class begins at 5:30PM at Michaels in Katy (Westheimer @ Grand Parkway).

 

Please register either online or at the register in the front of the store at least 24 hours prior to class time. Beginners' (Adult) class is $25 + Materials, Kids' class is $15 + Materials. Material kits are available in the store. The kit includes two canvas boards, two paint brushes, four colors of paint, and a palette knife.

 

 

 

This coming Monday, Sept. 8, we will paint this lovely landscape called "Disney Park". Colors used are Ultramarine Blue, Thalo Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, Titanium White, Alizarin Crimson. Class begins at 3PM.

 

In the Kids' Painting Class, beginning at 5:30PM, we will paint "Lagoon". This painting is a favorite with kids. Colors used are Ultramarine Blue, Cerulean Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Yellow Light, Cad. Red Light, Alizarin Crimson, Titanium White.
