Beginners' Acrylic Painting Classes

Monday 12:30 – 2:30 pm

$25 + Materials. Material kits available in store which include canvas boards, 4 colors of paint, two paint brushes and a palette knife. Wear old clothing. Bring a plastic cup, paper plate, pencil and additional paint colors marked in parenthesis.

July 8 – Landscape - “Winter Shadows” ( Thalo Blue, Alizarin Crimson)

July 15 – Floral - “Yellow Bush Roses” ( Thalo Blue, Alizarin Crimson)

July 22- Seascape - “Dunes and Beach” (Cadmium Yellow Light, Alizarin Crimson, Cerulean Blue)

July 29 – Still Life - “Pitcher & Fruit” (Burnt Sienna, Raw Umber)

August 5 – Landscape - “Tree with Bluebonnets” ( Thalo Blue, Alizarin Crimson)

August 12 – Floral – “White Daisies” Cadmium Yellow Light, Alizarin Crimson, Hooker's Green)

August 19 – Still Life - “Wild Berries” (Hooker's Green, Dioxazine Purple)

August 26 – Seascape - “A Perfect Reflection” (Alizarin Crimson, Cadmium Yellow Light, Mars Black, Payne's Gray, Yellow Ochre)

September 2 – NO CLASS

September 9 – Floral - “Yellow Lily” (Alizarin Crimon, Cadmium Yellow Light, Hooker's Green)

September 16 – Landscape - “Cultivated Land” (Hooker's Green, Dioxazine Purple, Burnt Umber)

September 23 – Still Life - “Something Wild” (Burnt Sienna, Hooker's Green)

September 30 – Floral - “Roses & Acorns” (Raw Umber)
