Paintings of the Week - Art Classes at Michael's in Katy on Monday

On Monday, Dec. 8 there are three classes available at Michael's in Katy (Westheimer & Grand Parkway). At 1PM there will be a Koh-I-Noor Drawing Class, at 3PM there will be an Adult Beginning Acrylic Painting Class, and at 5:30 there will be a Kid's Painting Class (Ages 7+).

In the drawing Class we will draw this "Steampunk Hot Air Balloon". Bring your drawing kit, sketch pad, a straight edge and compass. Class begins at 1PM. Pre-registration is required at least 24 hours in advance in store or at www.michaels.com

 

In our beginners' painting class we will paint a nice Christmas floral "Poinsettia". Colors used are Hooker's Green, Alizarin Crimson, Ultramarine Blue, Grumbacher Red (or Cad. Red Deep), Cad. Yellow Med., and Titanium White.

 

 

 

In our kid's class we will paint a Christmas still life "Holiday Ornament". Colors used are Ultramarine Blue, Cad. Yellow Med., Cad. Red Light, Titanium White, Hooker's Green, and Alizarin Crimson. Class begins at 5:30. Kid ages 7+ are welcome. Registration is required either in store or at Michaels.com
